Bastion: the Kidby ~Pyroxene

When I finished Bastion a week or two ago, I just -had- to model the little intro pic with Kid sitting on a rock, cuz I liked it a lot. Been working on it on and off since then, and now it's done.

Handpainted texture, diffuse only, no lighting.

this is AMAZING!!! Your painted textures are so beautiful..its doesn't look 3D at all and that's what I like about it most!
I'm also really excited that you use blender because I use it too...I've never been able to get such clean looking textures...your stuff is super impressive!
Do you use that mode where you paint on the model or do you do it on the texture editor? This is super inspiring I want to try making 2d-looking 3D stuff now!
Also I'm definitely gonna watch you

Aaah, that's pretty good! Both on modeling and texturing! And no ZBrush, only Blender? You must be really good at it!
