(Edit: campaign ended at 829k, holy crap! Looking forward to all these new characters!)

You may have already heard of this, but Skullgirls is getting some new DLC characters, thanks to developer Lab Zero's very successful Indiegogo campaign.

You can check it out here: [link]

Both Squigly and Big Band are in the bag, and there's now funding for a 3rd character. Which character that is, you'll be able to vote on sometime later. Here's a page with profiles on all of the choices, it's fun to read even if you're not going to donate: [link]

Now there's two days left to fund the 3rd characters story mode and stage, which I'm pretty sure will happen at this rate. They've actually added a goal for a 4th community-voted character, which is much further away... but stranger things have happened in two days.

You have such impressive work, especially your ability to texture low poly models so well. Wish I could pull that off with mine, regardless a watch is called for =D

I would think that's a little too much praise xD but thanks! Hmm as for tips, I always like to think it helps a lot to have a good basis in 2D art, so if you learn to draw, 3D will come more naturally. Most of the times I use Blender for modeling, and OpenCanvas for any 2D work, but I think the tools don't matter so much.
